The organization shall be known as Canada Revenue Agency Generations Club for the Outaouais/ National Capital Region. The Short Title shall be CRA Generations Club (CGC).
· to provide and facilitate opportunities for employees to meet with work associates and those who have retired for the purpose of fellowship and retention of contacts,
· to provide opportunities for members to assist each other and to contribute to Community initiatives for the needy,
· to work in concert with the Agency (CRA) to facilitate mutual professional assistance between members in and out of the work force,
· to work cooperatively with the Agency to support retiree participation in Agency initiatives such as the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program or other worthy causes such as charitable campaigns.
Employees and former employees of the Agency and its predecessor departmental organizations residing in the Outaouais/ National Capital.
First you need to apply through Club’s website to become members and receive invitations to the activities supported or organized by the club. Membership is free of charge to members.
· The executive shall consist of the following:
· The immediate past President
· The President
· The Vice President
· The Secretary
· The Treasurer
· Directors as required.
Elections shall be held annually. Board members shall be a combination of retirees and employees. Service will be for a three-year term. Terms are renewable.
The annual meeting for elections shall be held annually. The President shall call meetings of the Executive Officers as necessary. Social or other meetings shall be held from time to time at the direction of the Executive Officers. Only members are eligible to vote.
